Gluten Free Apple and Oats Quick Bread
About This Recipe
A quick and nutritious breakfast bread that gives you all the warm feelings of autumn. Apples and cinnamon work together to provide assistance with inflammation, antioxidants, as well as assistance with controlling blood sugars, being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. Instructions
- In a bowl, combine egg, apples, butter and sugar; stir to combine. Add in the remaining ingredients: flour, rolled oats, superfood powder, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Combine thoroughly. Place the mixture in a greased loaf pan. Place apples slices on top for a decorative look. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the center is done. Allow to cool before eating.
Variations - more calories or less
- Recipe makes approximately 15 muffins. Bake for 10-15 minutes
- Recipe makes three 3"X5" loaves. Bake or 15-20 minutes.
