Grass-Fed Whey Is the Way to Go!

There’s no shortage of whey products on the market, but unfortunately most of them will not give you the health benefits associated with high-quality grass-fed whey. Grass-fed whey is superior to the protein isolates used in most nutritional shakes.

Since grass-fed whey contains more than just protein, it contributes more health benefits and provides immune support, whereas isolate provides no health benefits and fails to support your immunity. Whey protein isolate is often subject to processing, which may involve micro-filtration and irradiation and even acid methods, reducing many of the known health benefits of whey protein.

Loss of Health Benefits in Whey Protein Isolates

Processed whey protein isolates are missing some important nutritional co-factors, including naturally occurring vitamins, lipids and alkalizing minerals. Grass-fed whey proteins contain alkalizing minerals, while whey protein isolates are acidifying.

Consuming whey protein isolates without alkalizing food can cause metabolic acidosis, wasting of muscle and bone tissues and ultimately metabolic shutdown.

Many cheap whey protein isolates are produced from acid cheese (a byproduct of acid processing), which is an inexpensive way to separate the whey from the curd. Most of these whey products contain inferior quality proteins, which are actually nitrogen waste.

Grass Fed Whey Healthy Components

Once the fat has been removed from whey protein isolate, it loses some of the most important components of its immunological properties, such as CLA, phospholipids, and phosphatidylserine. IgG immunoglobulins, which are an excellent source of glutamine and glutamylcysteine, are also bound to the fat globule, and therefore lost in the processing of whey isolates.

New Zealand Grass Fed Whey in INVIGOR8

To be fully utilized by the body, whey protein should be consumed in its whole form as grass-fed whey, which is an important ingredient found in our Superfood Shakes. We do not spare the cost when sourcing the highest-quality ingredients.
