Looking for a healthy sweet and salty snack? These crunch-worthy candied almonds pack a hefty 9 grams of protein per serving between the collagen peptides and the almonds to keep you satisfied.
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add all ingredients. Stir until almonds are evenly coated and collagen dissolves.
- Stir frequently until maple syrup reduces and begins to caramelize, about five minutes.
- Transfer nuts to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Let cool completely. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature up to three days.
