These fudgy dark chocolate balls are healthy enough for a midday snack and delicious enough for dessert. Walnuts and coconut create the fudgy, buttery texture, and freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries add a burst of fruity tartness.
Recipe: (Makes 12)
1 cup walnuts 1 cup coconut flakes 1 scoop Triple Chocolate Brownie or Fresh Strawberry INVIGOR8 Superfood Shake 2 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract ¼ tsp salt ⅓ cup freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips/chunks (optional)
In a food processor, add the walnuts, coconut flakes, INVIGOR8 powder, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Process and pulse until a sticky dough forms.
Add the berries and chocolate chips, if using, and pulse to break them up.
Use a small scoop or roll by hand to form into 12 balls. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
