About This Recipe
Sesame seeds are a secret protein packed topping but have you ever thought to make them a bar? This simple combination provides a new and eccentric approach to protein bars.
Instructions
- In a food processor, process the medjool dates.
- Heat a non stick pan over medium heat and add all the ingredients.
- Cook till the mixture come to a low boil.
- Pour in into a lined 8x8 pan and let cool.
- Cut into four bars and enjoy! Store in container in a dry location.
Variations - more calories or less
- Add more chunky medjool dates into the mix for more texture and sweetness.

- 7 pitted medjool dates
- 3 tbs maple syrup
