Spice Apple Cider with Collagen

About This Recipe
Bring in the fall days with a classic, apple cidar. Apples are in peak season in the fall and this simple, quick recipe allows you to take advantage of them at their finest while adding in your daily collagen. Perfect for the crockpot to optimize multitasking. It will not only fill your home with the smell of fall but warm the heart and soul.
Instructions
- Wash your apples and orange. Remove the cores and rough chop them.
- Place in a large crock pot or slow cooker with enough water to cover the fruit.
- Add cinnamon and cloves.
- Cook on low heat for 6-7 hours or on high heat for 3 hours.
- With a masher, mash the fruit. It will be soft at this point and easy to do.
- Pour the puree through a shive to seperate the particles from the juice. Disgard the particles. If you would like to sweeten the cider, you may add a sugar of your choice to desired sweetness.
- Enjoy it fresh or let it cool. If you store in the fridge, warm your cider and pour youself a mug. Add in a scoop of collagen peptides when ready to drink and enjoy! This recipes makes approximaely 1 1/2 quarts of cider.
