On a chilly day, warm up with a cup of hot cider or hot chocolate and these moist, delicious cinnamon sugar doughnuts! You'll feel doubly comforted knowing they're grain-free and include healthy fats and protein. 

Recipe:
(Makes 6) 

2 eggs
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 cup almond flour
1 scoop French Vanilla INVIGOR8 Superfood Shake
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt

For the cinnamon sugar:

⅓ cup coconut sugar or cane sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp coconut oil

Preheat the oven to 325˚ F. Lightly grease a standard doughnut pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, maple syrup and coconut oil. Add the almond flour, INVIGOR8 powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Divide the batter between the six donut molds, spreading it out into a doughnut shape. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the outside of the doughnuts is firm to the touch. Allow to cool for a few minutes.

In a wide and shallow bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. In a small microwavable bowl, melt the coconut oil. Brush the coconut oil onto a doughnut and then immediately dredge it in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat with all of the doughnuts.

Enjoy warm or cover and store in the fridge for up to four days.
